RADICAL ACCEPTANCE: Embracing Your Life With The Heart Of A Buddha
written by: Tara Brach
Even if you're not religious or particularly spiritual, you may find that this book and the thoughts presented may help you live a more calm and present life. Many of the topics and ideas Brach presents are similar to Mindful Self-Compassion. I've been a student of MSC and would whole-heartedly recommend a mindfulness class to anyone. Essentially, practicing mediation or mindfulness without judgement is hard to do in this world, but daring to do it, will make you stronger when it comes to dealing with difficult emotions, and situations. The practice of meditation and mindfulness has changed my life greatly.
